My Favorite Running Gear from Lululemon

I used to be really skeptical of running clothes from Lululemon. The needs of a runner are much different than someone wearing clothes for yoga or other workouts. Between fit, pockets, and ventilation, you want clothing that is specially designed for the demands of running. Over the years, Lululemon’s running specific gear has become really good, and most of my staple pieces are from them. I also appreciate that they consistently offer the same products, year after year, with only minor changes. This way you don’t have to start over every time you need something new.

Since we’re getting into the best running weather of the year, I wanted to share some of my favorite pieces that I keep using (and would buy again!).

5 Ways to Avoid Burnout in Pandemic Year 2

Here we are on the anniversary of when the pandemic hit! I remember being at work this time last year and thinking how strange it was that we would work from home an entire week, maybe even 2 weeks! A year later, and here we are.

Thinking about year 2 is hard for me. Going through a year of missed things seems bad enough, but we always had hope for “next year”. Even with the bad, there is hope to look forward to this year.

My Spring Front Step Makeover

It finally hit 50 degrees in Minnesota, which means it was time to take down the left over Christmas decorations on my front step. It felt so good saying goodbye to the remnants of winter! I realized that I was very overdue for some new front step decor, and was excited to shop for it. On my list were new pots, faux plants to fill them (for now, since its still too cold for live plants!), and a new doormat.

Like always, my shopping involved heading to Target!

What I’m Loving: Quarantine Skincare Secrets

Now that I am working from home, I rarely wear make up and have had a lot of time to focus on better skin care. I’ve shared some of my favorite products before, but I have a few new finds to add to the list! I’m not paid for these posts, so what I’m sharing is the honest truth from what I’ve tried (and I confess, I try a lot of products!). Of course everyone’s skin is different and some times you do have to experiment for what works for you.

Copy My Spring Mantle

I recently felt like it was time to update my fireplace mantle to feel refreshed for spring. I wanted to add some new pieces that made it feel really fresh and new, yet still fit with the rest of the room. I did some hunting and pulled together nice pieces that layered together well. Since I bought almost all of it recently, I wanted to share where to grab it for yourself!

All the pieces are affordable and really classic so that you can continue to use throughout the year. Happy shopping!

What I’m Loving: Pretty in Pink

I hope this post finds you well and that you are surviving the winter freeze. It has been below 0 almost every day for the last week in Minnesota, and I’m going a little stir crazy. During times like this, I just try to stay inspired and think of things to look forward to.

Some of those things include all of the fun things we will get to go back to doing once we are vaccinated! I’m looking forward to having a reason to dress up, attending events like concerts and football games, seeing friends again, and being able to run an in person marathon. Until then, I will continue to dream.

In this month’s what I’m loving, I pulled some inspiration of my favorite things, that all happen to be pretty in pink. I hope it brightens your day just a little!
